Celine DionCeline Dion has announced that she is to play two UK concerts following the end of her five-year residency in Las Vegas. The Canadian warbler will perform at the Manchester Evening News Arena on 2nd May, and London’s O2 arena on 6th May.

These shows form part of her world tour which will begin in Johannesburg on Valentine’s day, with a benefit concert for the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund.

The shows also follow next month’s release of “Taking Chances”, her first English-language album in more than three years.

Spice GirlsThe London date of the Spice Girls reunion tour sold out in 38 seconds after fans were notified tickets had gone on sale, according to the show’s promoters.

More than one million people in the UK registered for the concert, which takes place on 15 December at the O2 arena.

MadonnaMadonna is rumoured to be planning a world tour next year, to mark her 50th birthday in August 2008.

According to the New York Post report, Madonna is busy arranging the shows right now with the tour entitled “Madonna At 50″.

Such a tour would be the singer’s first since last year’s 50-date “Confessions” tour.
